Crown Point local centre provides a number of small retailers, including: Sub-Post Office, newsagents, convenience stores/off licences, baker, pharmacies, dry cleaner, florist, cafes, restaurant, take-away/fastfood outlets, hairdressers, launderette, builders merchant, filling station, VW dealership, bookmakers.  Some of these have late opening hours and some observe half day closing on Wednesdays.

A parade of shops near All Saints church includes: Newsagent, pharmacy, convenience store, off licence, dry cleaner, launderette, florist, cafe, hairdresser.

There are a number of local centres nearby that provide a great variety of shops and stores, including many well established local businesses.  Most of these are accessible by bus services that run along or across Beulah Hill.

Health Care

There are two general practitioner surgeries, Crown Dale Medical Centre and Knights Hill Surgery, within walking distance of Crown Point.  Both of these come under Lambeth Primary Care Trust.  Knightshill Dental Practice is also within walking distance.

Several general practitioner surgeries can be found within a reasonable distance of All Saints church, with Upper Norwood Group Practice in Church Road being the closest.  All of these come under Croydon Primary Care Trust.  Beulah Hill Dental Centre can be found opposite All Saints church.

King's College Hospital and Dental Institute is about 3.7 miles away from Crown Point and on a direct bus route.  Mayday University Hospital is about 2.3 miles away from All Saints church.

Entertainment

There are two pubs, The Conquering Hero and The Rose & Crown, at Crown Point.  The Beulah Spa, part of the Harvester pub & grill chain, is located at the top of Spa Hill.

Crystal Palace has a very varied range of pubs, wine bars and restaurants to cater for every taste.  Streatham, Norbury and West Norwood also provide similar venues.

There is an Odeon cinema in Streatham and the South London Theatre can be found near West Norwood station.

Sports

Streatham provides a number sporting venues.  There is swimming and fitness at the Streatham Leisure Centre, skating and ice hockey at the Streatham Ice Arena.

The West Norwood Tennis & Social Club is within walking distance from Crown Point.

Crystal Palace Football Club is less than 1 mile away from All Saints church and is on a direct bus route.

The National Sports Centre, based within Crystal Palace Park, provides a variety of fitness and swimming facilities.

South Norwood and Thornton Heath Leisure Centres have swimming and gym facilities available.

Libraries

The nearest library to Crown Point is at West Norwood and is within walking distance.  This is run by the London Borough of Lambeth, but non-Lambeth residents may apply to join the library.

The nearest libraries run by the London Borough of Croydon is well over a mile away at Thornton Heath and Norbury.

Upper Norwood Joint Library is located at Crystal Palace and is an independent library with its own policies and procedures.
